The application connects to the Defi Smart Adapter W via Bluetooth, facilitating its use in conjunction with the ADVANCE Control Unit or OBD. The Defi Smart Adapter W serves as a bridge, transmitting vehicle data from either the ADVANCE Control Unit or OBD to iOS devices wirelessly.

It is essential to use a mobile device that has been confirmed to be compatible with the application. A list of verified devices is available on the Defi website.

Sensor data inputted into either the Defi ADVANCE Control Unit or OBD will be displayed as gauges. Supported metrics include speed, engine RPM, intake pressure, oil pressure, fuel pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, exhaust temperature, voltage, throttle position, intake temperature, and gear position. Users can switch between analog and digital gauge displays by tapping on the respective gauges.

The design of this application aligns aesthetically with the ADVANCE CR/BF models.
